
Barry Bagley is an intimidating school bully until James Scobie comes along to defend his friend, the unfortunately-named Ishmael Lesur - the narrator of this comical book. Scobie's tics, twitches, quick wit and lack of fear help put Barry in his place. But the fun starts when Scobie starts up a Year 9 debating team with the most hilarious results.
